The short, readable version of how licensing and payment work.

Licence

Every plan is a one-time purchase. A licence covers the number of Macs stated at purchase (1 or 3) for Macs you personally use.

Free trial

The full app is free for 14 days. No card and no account are required. When the trial ends, a one-time licence is required to keep using Ammonite.

Updates and devices

Standard licences include all updates within the current major version (1.x); a future major version would be a paid upgrade. Lifetime licences include every future update. Nothing expires — the version you have keeps working.

A licence is bound to the Macs it is activated on, up to the number covered at purchase. Write to support to rebind it to different machines.

Refunds

Paid purchases are not refundable. The 14-day trial is free — nothing is charged if you stop before buying.

Payment

Once checkout opens, payments will be processed by a third-party payment provider. We never see or store your card details.
